OREGON FUGUE TALKS COMMUNITY

Why do you play ultimate? When middle school and high school students are asked why they play ultimate, they consistently say that they play because of the community. In this promotional video made by the University of Oregon, the ladies of Oregon Fugue reiterate the importance to community to 5 a.m. practices and tough workouts. Perhaps it is the support of teammates that has made Fugue into one of the most well-rounded and respected ultimate programs in the nation.

“In my experience, the toughest match-ups on receivers are against those players that are as big a threat going deep as they are coming under.”
In another top-notch article from The Huddle, Gwen Ambler reminds readers that the players who are the deadliest on the field are those who have several abilities. While developing a superpower is useful, several well-developed skill keeps the defense on their toes and, as a result, unable to shut you down.
